On April 21, 2020, Microsoft will rename all Office 365 SMB offers.
There will be no changes to the prices or functionalities and the offer names will be updated automatically.
The announced renames are shown below:
- Office 365 Business Essentials will become Microsoft 365 Business Basic.
- Office 365 Business Premium will become Microsoft 365 Business Standard.
- Microsoft 365 Business will become Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
Microsoft will also adopt Microsoft 365 Apps as the new name for the two Office client subscriptions:
- Office 365 Business will change its name to Microsoft 365 Apps for Business
- Office 365 ProPlus will change its name to Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
