New Pricing for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement & Unified Operations
Microsoft has announced a new licensing model for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Unified Operations, which will take effect from October 1, 2019.
On October 1, 2019, new customers will not be able to order CE and UO licenses on current terms. The new licensing model will assume the purchase of a Basic License and “Attach Licenses”. Microsoft referred this model as a “à la carte”.
In this model, payment is based on usage per user per module. Each user starts with a basic license. Then, depending on your needs, you can add licenses for specific applications.
Most modules are available as a basic or additional license. Only licenses for Project Service Automation, Marketing and Talent modules will require a separate license, as they exist as a standalone application.
In summary, the current plan will be replaced with a new licensing model. Each user will have a basic license, the cost of which will start from $50. In addition, users will be able to buy selected applications at a price of $ 20 depending on individual needs.
