Requirements for the web browser
Dynamics 365 Business Central in the online form works on all popular browsers. It is important that cookies and JavaScript support are enabled in the browser settings. Recommended browsers:
- Microsoft Edge for Windows (latest version)
- Google Chrome for Windows (latest version)
- Mozilla Firefox for Windows (latest version)
- Safari for macOS (latest version)
The most recommended browser by Microsoft is Microsoft Edge. According to the information provided on the Microsoft blog, from April 2, 2021, Microsoft removed Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge from the list of recommended browsers to support Business Central.

Requirements for the mobile application
Supported operating systems:
- Windows 10 S, Home, Pro, Enterprise, or Education (32-bit and 64-bit).
- Android: The latest three major versions and their updates.
- iOS (iPad and iPhone): the latest three major versions and their updates.
At least 1 GB of RAM is required. Additionally, the Outlook e-mail program (for sending messages directly from Business Central) and the Office suite (for sending data to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word) are recommended.
The Business Central application works in telephone mode for devices with a screen size of 4.00 – 6.99 inches (minimum resolution 854×480). In the case of the tablet mode, the minimum screen size is 7.00 inches (and the minimum resolution is 960×510).
