Dynamics 365 Business Central licenses

Dynamics 365 Business Central is a solution dedicated to companies from the SME sector. It is a solution that adapts to the size of the organization, which means that you can increase or limit the number of users/licenses depending on your needs.

Deployment types

Business Central is available in the traditional model in the form of local installation (on-premises). In this case, the license is purchased as a property in the form of a one-time payment. The organization itself is responsible for organizing the server infrastructure. The advantages of such a solution include full control of the upgrade and the possibility of using the existing infrastructure.

The second solution is the SaaS model. It is a modern solution based on a subscription fee. As part of one subscription, the organization receives licenses and access to cloud infrastructure. Thus, there is no need to incur additional costs related to the maintenance of the server infrastructure. It is an almost reliable solution, as Microsoft offers a reliability of 99.9% in accordance with the applicable SLA. Another advantage of the SaaS solution is extremely convenient updates that do not require the intervention of the technical team.

The alternative is a hybrid model. In this case, the system is installed on an external Data Center managed by EIP Dynamics or our partner. Here, as in the case of local installation, the organization has full control over the updating process.
