Microsoft Inspire 2020

Check out the news announced during Microsoft Inspire 2020.

This year, for the first time, the Micrososft Inspire was only available in a digital version. It was already the 17th edition of this event. As every year, Inspire is a great opportunity for networking and check the latest trends related to Microsoft technologies. What’s new about Microosft technologies during this year’s edition?

Azure
As last year, Microsoft announces further improvements in Azure Lighthouse. They are talking mainly about support for multi-entity authentication and privileged identity. Microsoft encourage scale projects based on the Azure cloud. Therefore, the series of Microsoft Azure Center of Excellence handbooks is constantly being expanded, containing a set of good practices for projects based on or moving to the cloud. Of course, arming partners with knowledge is not enough. Also from the technological side, you can expect further improvements to help manage the Azure service. One example is Azure Stack HCI, the latest hybrid service that is currently open to the public. Another example is Azure Migrate, which supports server migration and modernization of containerization.

Power Platform i Dynamics 365
The mention about Power Platform and Dynamics 365 could not be missing. Currently, Microsoft particularly emphasizes the importance of these tools in safe return to work, which is to be facilitated by such solutions as: Location Readiness, Employee Health and Safety Management, Care Management in the workplace (Workplace Care Management) and Location Management. However, in the case of Dynamics 365, you can expect such innovations as Customer Voice, Connected Store and Fraud Protecion.

Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is an extremely fast-growing application, therefore it is an important point in the rich portfolio of various products from Microsoft. What can we expect from Microsoft Teams? Among other things, a new “Communities” feature has been announced to provide access to Yammer directly from Teams. In addition, new improvements have been announced in Power Platfom as part of Teams, which will allow you to manage applications and chatbots using Power Apps and Power Virtual Agent, without leaving Teams.
