What’s new and planned for Dynamics 365 Business Central in March 2020

This article describes the latest functionalities (released in February and March) that will be released as part of 2019 release wave 2

February 2020: Skip empty lines in the Account Schedule report
Balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and cash flow accounts are key financial reports for many companies. Thanks to this improvement, access to data will be more transparent.

Feburary 2020: View customers’ contact and document info on sales documents
If the sales document contains customer reference data (e.g. purchase order number) then you can find information about a specific customer faster. It is important that the reference data flows through the entire sales process from the offer to the invoice issued.

March 2020: MICR fonts available in Business Central online
Customers who need to print checks with MICR fonts will also be able to do it in Business Central online

New events to unblock printer extensions in Business Central online
By using these events, developers will be able to create extensions that implement support for cloud printing.

Sign-in attempt telemetry in Application Insights for partners
With Application Insights, partners can monitor when users encounter a login problem (for example, because of missing permissions).  So they can actively help customers without having to contact Microsoft support.
